Welcome to the first official Work-in-Progress Wednesday, where I’ll give you a look into the absolute chaos in my #AuthoringAdventure. For the most part, these will be brief updates about one of the plethora of WIPs that is currently making me pull my hair out by the roots. Each project is staring balefully at me from the depths of my Files folder, and I can feel their glares drilling through my soul…

To put that into perspective, I have over 20 drafted manuscripts made up of full-length, novella-length, and novelette-length WIPs. Over 15 of those are full-length, reaching over 130k words on average, with the longest being an outlier of 265k words.

I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in…

To do a quick review of my #AuthoringAdventure, I recently published my novella Elite Hunter (Light of Chaos: Born Elementals # 1). Y’all have been beaten to death with updates about it, but I promise this quick summary is relevant. On March 1, 2024, I published an extended-length chapter that serves as an official epilogue to Elite Hunter. You can download the FREE chapter at the end of every new “purchase” of Elite Hunter on amazon.

Due to unforeseen health issues that impacted my ability to edit, my original publishing timeline for this trilogy has been affected. Translation: My anticipated release schedule for the remaining 2 novellas has been delayed, with no current estimate on release date. Expect Coven Witch somewhere around autumn, at the earliest. If I can make some magic happen, maybe we can see it sooner…

The only other thing of note is that I’ve officially drafted a schedule for blog posts and newsletter updates. Look forward to various engagement posts/polls, writing prompts, character interviews, pet posts, in-progress teasers and/or silly snippets. There will be a “Special Feature” post each month that will have exciting content, from book reviews to author recommendations, pre-release announcements to ARC requests, cover reveals to—
