The end of the year seems to have both taken a million years to get here and to have also snuck up on me to sock me in my lady bits out of nowhere. Probably that damn hydra I’ve been trying to take out for the last 9+ months. That ruthless bastard.
*Ahem*
Anyway, it’s the holiday season again. (Weird how that keeps happening, y’know?)
Happy [insert your holiday here] to you. Or Un-holiday, to those of you who don’t celebrate. I hope your upcoming weeks are blessed and beautiful, or sleepy and comfy, or just “good.” Being “just good” is more than enough. “Just existing,” too. Holiday cheer doesn’t mean you have to be cheerful if you’re not feeling it. And y’all, Feelsâ˘ď¸ to that.
I normally spend my holidays off blissfully doing nothing to try to recover from the long work week. Sleep all day. Stay up too late. Hit snooze too many times the next workday… But this year, I’ll be spending the holidays with my grandma, taking quality time to watch no less than 5 Christmas movies. If you have any suggestions, yeet them at me. We’ve exhausted the A Christmas Prince universe over our last several November birthday and holiday visits.
